The hydration of SON68 glass (non-radioactive surrogate for R7T7 glass, the French industrial high-level radioactive waste management) was studied at between 30 and 70°C a relative humidity 95% period 6 months. thicknesses were shown to increase with temperature did not exceed few nanometres 50°C, or tens 70°C. dependence rates followed Arrhenius law enabled determination an activation energy.
